Tokyo! looks intriguing, if artsy-fartsy. It's a set of shorts by three excellent directors, Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), Leos Carax (Lovers on the Bridge), and Bong Joon-Ho (The Host). Although the shorts are strikingly different, reflecting their idiosyncratic creators, they have a unifying theme: Tokyo and its denizens. I'm most curious about Gondry's work, an adaptation of Gabrielle Bell's Cecil & Jordan in New York. If you don't mind spoilers, read Gondry's New York interview about the movie.
